T-O map A map dividing the (accessible) part of the world into three parts, with Asia taking up half the space at the top of the map, Europe and Africa sharing the bottom half. The three continents are separated by the Don River, Red Sea, and Mediterranean, yielding a “T”-shape inside the “O” of the outer ocean and the map’s overall shape.
